One thing that I seem to have issues with is time management. What can I say, there just aren't enough hours in the day to get done everything that I want and need to do. I know I'm not the only person with this problem, but when you're in the thick of it and feeling overwhelmed it can sure feel that way.
Anyway, in an effort to get my time management under control, I am starting a new system for allocating my time. For the next few weeks I'm going to try assigning different tasks to different nights. This way I can spend the precious time after my daughter goes to bed and before I go to bed concentrating on one thing instead of running around like a nut trying to get done as much as I can. (I can vouch for that method not being the most efficient)
I haven't finalized my schedule yet, but as an example I would spend Monday night working on my blog, Tuesday night cleaning up the house, Wednesday night sewing and so forth. Has anyone out there tried a system like this before? If so, how did it work for you? Or do you have another system that works for you? I would love to hear thoughts and ideas on this. I know I can't be the only person out there with an issue like this.

That sounds like a good plan! I also feel I need help with time management. I usually end up doing a little blogging after the girls are in bed, but my brain doesn't work as well at night as it does in the mornings! Will look forward to seeing how this works for you!
I assign different household chores to each day (ie dust on Tuesday, bedding on Friday) and I find it really helpful.
Right now I am able to blog in the morning while the kids are at school, but with summer coming, I know I am going to have to set up some sort of schedule!
Hope your new schedule works for you!
I have the same problem. I have recently redone our family jobs system. Now we have daily jobs that need done regardless, like dishes, making beds, ect. Now, Instead of trying to clean the whole house in one day we will be focusing on one room a day. We will start in the kitchen so it will be thurough. We will clean the floors, cabinent fronts, baseboards, mop, clean the stovetop and microwave, clen out the frindge, sweep for cobwebs, dust, ect. This way each room gets special attention and in the long run will be cleaner. At least that's the plan!
I am SO in need a of a system like this. I run around every day like a chicken with my head cut off. I just can't sqeeze enough in. Perhaps I should slow down...
