I don't know what it is, but we can't seem to escape sicknesses around here lately. Last week it was a stomach virus and this week it's a head cold. This is so crazy, and it's playing havoc with my menu planning. Let's hope that now that Spring is here the sicknesses will go away.
- Sunday: Dinner Out
- Monday: Kielbasa
- Tuesday: Pork Chops (still looking for a recipe)
- Wednesday: Omelets
- Thursday: Chicken Melt Sandwiches
- Friday: Chicken Salad Wraps
- Saturday: Leftovers
Just like last week, I'm still looking for a recipe for the pork chops on Tuesday night. This time I'm looking for something simple because I'm not up to a lot of cooking with this head cold Pumpkin gave me. So if you have a good pork chop recipe you would like to share, please let me know and post a link to it if possible.
For the chicken melt sandwiches on Thursday I am going to try to imitate a delicious chicken sandwich I get from a restaurant near work. It's a grilled chicken breast with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard on a kaiser roll. Last time the honey mustard I tried was all wrong, but I have a new one and I am ready to try again. I love this sandwich so much, I would love to duplicate it. (I still haven't gotten to this even though I've been trying for three weeks now.)
