Tackle It Tuesday - Kitchen Cabinet

This week I have a pretty small tackle. My daughter was sick all weekend and kept us up at night. As a result, I didn't get to even half of what I had planned for the weekend. At least I did manage to get a small tackle done during one of her naps.

This week I decided to clean out one of my kitchen cabinets that tends to collect "junk." This the cabinet where we store our medicine and vitamins and such. As you can see, my container of medicines is overflowing.

To get everything organized I pulled everything out of the cabinet and went through it all before I put it back. We had some old expired medicine in there so I tossed that. There was even an empty medicine bottle in there so that went to the trash too. All of the little packets of medicine are once again their tub. On the middle shelf I put together all the sippy cups and the gum is now neatly housed in a container. The top shelf didn't change much because there wasn't much junk up there to begin with.
I'm very glad that I finally got this cabinet organized. The mess in there was really starting to bother me. Now we need to keep it organized.

Looks great! I'm always amazed at what I can find to throw away when I start organizing .. empty bottles, little wrappers .. stuff that you wonder why it was there in the first place!
